About Bucks County Stucco
A referral service for Central Bucks County, PA — not a contractor.
Bucks County Stucco is a referral service — not a contractor. We connect homeowners with registered local crews and step back. We never perform, oversee, or warrant the work itself.
We're operated by Swell Ventures LLC. We built this because finding the right crew for a stucco problem in Bucks County is genuinely hard, and for an unusual reason: the county contains two completely different stucco problems that need opposite treatments, and a great deal of the advice available locally does not distinguish between them.
The distinction the whole site is built on
Wood-framed homes built roughly 1992–2007 — the township subdivisions in Warrington, Furlong, Jamison, Doylestown Township and their neighbours — carry hard-coat stucco over OSB sheathing, very often with no drainage plane, no kickout flashing and no weep screed. Water reaches the wood and stays there. These houses need remediation.
Solid stone and brick houses — the older stock in Doylestown Borough, New Hope, Carversville, Perkasie and the villages — have no sheathing behind the stucco to rot. They cannot fail that way. They need repair in breathable lime-based materials, and a hard modern cement render on one of them traps moisture and spalls the stone behind it.
Sending the second kind of homeowner a remediation quote would be lucrative and wrong. So the site says so, in writing, on the home page and on every borough town page.
Where we work
We cover 25 towns across Central Bucks County, PA. Our service-area pages are grouped by how the houses were actually built rather than by map, because that is what decides the work.
How we vet the crews
Before any contractor receives a referral from us, we confirm their Pennsylvania Home Improvement Contractor registration is active on the Office of Attorney General's public register, and we record the date we checked. Insurance is not part of that check, and nothing on this site confirms that a contractor carries liability cover. Pennsylvania requires that registration for anyone performing more than $5,000 of home improvement work a year, and the registration number must appear on their contracts and advertising. For EIFS work we additionally look for manufacturer certification, and for historic masonry we look for demonstrated lime mortar experience. These checks describe a moment in time and are not an endorsement — you should still satisfy yourself before hiring. See how it works for the full detail.
How we're paid
Contractors pay us for job referrals. Homeowners never pay us anything, and we take no part of what you pay a contractor. That's worth knowing so you can weigh what we say accordingly: we have an interest in you contacting a contractor, and no interest in which one you choose or whether you hire them at all.
Reaching us
We don't run a phone line or a storefront — we're reachable by email, and that's contact@buckscountystucco.com. We reply within 1 business day. If you have a stucco problem rather than a question, the fastest route is to tell us what you're seeing.
Bucks County Stucco is a referral service, not a home improvement contractor and not a stucco inspector. Swell Ventures LLC is the operating entity. We do not perform, supervise, inspect, or guarantee any work, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a contractor.
